Our Cognac Still Is Now Safe in England

The still is now here in England in storage! We found our Alembic copper still in the Cognac region of France. The still was sourced from good friend and Cognac Master Distiller Miguel D’Anjou, who is the third generation distilling fine cognac from his farm near Pons, in Cognac. The still was commissioned by his grandfather in 1966 and has lay dormant since being decommissioned in 1994 when the family installed two larger stills.

After a slightly terrifying drive back from Cognac with the still on a trailer, our wonderful still has finally made it back safe and sound. Now we need to get it glass blasted and lacquered to bring it back to greatness. Watch this space!
