Introducing the first ever single malt whisky from Dartmoor Whisky Distillery.

Distilled in our beautiful ex-Cognac copper still, aged for over five years in a single Oloroso Sherry cask and cut with pure Dartmoor spring water. This is the first ever distillation of our Oloroso sherry cask aged whisky and the bottle is signed by our Master Distiller, Frank McHardy and the founder. The first ever distillation resulted in two sherry casks, one was aged for three years and the other for five, this is the latter. An extremely beautiful and smooth – limited edition whisky expression.

This expression is one of our most sought after collector items and comes with a signed label by Frank McHardy and the founder of Dartmoor Whisky Distillery. This will also include a certificate of authenticity and ownership.

The Oloroso Sherry Cask

This barrel comes from the Jerez region in Spain where sherry is produced. These are some of the most exclusive and expensive barrels we purchase because of the beautifully sweet and rich flavours they impart on the whisky. These barrels are hard to come by because of the drop in production in sherry, therefore, it's rare to find a whisky that is aged purely in a Spanish sherry casks. The casks are re-coopered to be strong but still hold the wonderfully sweet flavours and aromas from their past life holding sherry.
